Introduction to the AACC Annual Meeting

Welcome to the 2011 AACC Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo. This year's tradeshow is expecting a large number of exhibiting companies with more booth space than in previous years.

This year's AACC Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo will be held on July 24-28 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Whether your interest lies in pharmacogenomics, autoimmune disease, toxicology, molecular diagnostics, cancer, microarray technologies, cardiac and vascular disease, interpreting lab data, or many more areas of the clinical lab field, the 2011 AACC Annual Meeting is the place for you.

AACC has been discussing the three pillars of the 2011 AACC Annual Meeting to demonstrate what the annual meeting has to offer all attendees. Those three pillars are the following:

Education: Learn from experts or share your own experiences in interactive sessions in areas such as pharmacogenomics, autoimmune disease, toxicology, molecular diagnostics, cancer, training of clinical lab personnel, microarray technologies, cardiac and vascular disease, interpreting lab data, and much more.

Networking: Find unparalleled opportunities to spend time with your peers from around the world in educational sessions, social events, and special interest group meetings, or over a cup of coffee.

Exposition: See the newest products for clinical laboratory diagnostics, including point-of-care testing, molecular and genetic testing, informatics and middleware, lab automation, as well as a special section devoted to original equipment manufacturers (OEM).

The following is this year's plenary session schedule:
