A monochromator-based plate reader puts the user in control of selecting the exact wavelength to measure optical density for an application. Users of the Asys UVM340 can select any wavelength between 340 and 800 nm at 1-nm intervals to measure absorbance. The reader is suitable for ELISA and other absorbance applications, and there is no need to purchase extra filters or change instruments to perform different assays.
